PULLEY KIT REPLACEMENT Part #KW079 White and KW080 Brown
 
Model 100  (end brackets are 4"h X 5"w)
  1. Lower shade all the way
     
  2. Remove the seal roller by lifting on one side then the other
     
  3. Unroll fabric on take up roller
     
  4. Remove the fabric clips
     
  5. Grasp the take up roller in one hand and bracket in the other
     
  6. Gently pull out on the bracket until the end pin clears the bracket
    now that you have the take up roller out remove the pulley by breaking it off
     
  7. With a pair of vise grips or channel lock pliers grip the end plug and work it back and forth until it comes out of the roller
     
  8. Tap the new pulley kit with end plug into the roller tube with a hammer until the end plug seats.
     
  9. Thread your pull cord into the hole in the pulley
     
  10. Knot the end of the pull cord and wind pull cord so cord comes off the top of the pulley
     
  11. Install the take up roller between the brackets
     
  12. Reattach the fabric with the fabric clips
     
  13. Replace the seal roller in its slots on the brackets
     
  14. Raise and lower the shade to check operation
     

Model 400  (end brackets are 6"h X 4"w)

  1. Lower shade all the way
     
  2. Loosen the lower bracket screw on the pull cord side of shade
     
  3. Slide the bottom of the bracket away from the center of shade
     
  4. Remove the seal roller
     
  5. Unroll fabric on take up roller
     
  6. Remove the fabric clips
     
  7. Grasp the take up roller in one hand and bracket in the other
     
  8. Gently pull out on the bracket until the end pin clears the bracket
     
  9. Now that you have the take up roller out remove the pulley by breaking it off
     
  10. With a pair of vise grips or channel lock pliers grip the end plug and work it back and forth until it comes out of the roller
     
  11. Tap the new pulley kit with end plug into the roller tube with a hammer until the end plug seats.
     
  12. Thread your pull cord into the hole in the pulley
     
  13. Knot the end of the pull cord and wind pull cord so cord comes off the top of the pulley
     
  14. Reinstall the seal roller and slide bottom of bracket back in place
     
  15. Tighten the screw
     
  16. Install the take up roller between the brackets
     
  17. Reattach the fabric with the fabric clips
     
  18. Raise and lower the shade to check operation
